Shri Kamakshi Temple, Goa

Shri Kamakshi Devi Temple ( Mandir ) , Shirode Fonda, Goa

This temple was originally located at Raia in Salcette and was moved to its present location in 1564-1568. The temple is located at Shiroda. It is dedicated to Goddess Kamakshi, an incarnation of Goddess Parvati, consort of Shiva. By the side of the main temple are shrines dedicated to Shree Shantadurga, Shree Laxmi Narayana and Shree Rayeshwar. There are Agrashalas surrounding the main temple that provide lodging and boarding for pilgrims.

A choice of all classes in the order of preference should be provided at placing the booking requisition to save time.
Reservations are accepted for trains on a tentative basis only, & no guarantee before hand can be offered in absence of a "time limit " booking as in airlines.
A 50% fare as advance is expected to enable us to process your booking, which is refunded back in full in the event where the train gets sold out at the actual time of booking.

By Bus

The State Transport Corporations of Goa, Maharashtra and Karnatakao perate bus services from the Kadamba Bus Station at Panaji. Tourism of Goa provides you the tourist car or coach for the road transportation to Goa from the neighboring states of Maharashtra, Karnataka as well as for the city driving and sightseeing trips. Buses are available in plenty to travel to Goa from Mumbai. Two types of buses are found-one is the normal coaches and the other one is the Volvo deluxe buses.
Normal coaches start off from the bus terminuses at Borivli (w), Kandivli (w), Malad (w), Goregaon (w), Joeshwari (w), Andheri (w), Vile Parle (w), Santacruz (w), Bandra (w), Sion and Chembur in Mumbai.

The Volvo buses have different kinds of arrangements according to which the fares vary: Non AC luxury, Non AC Sleeper (berth) coach, AC Super Luxury, AC Super Luxury sleeper,
AC Slumber and AC Pushback are the provisions.
